EDUCATION ADVOCACY SUPPORT FOR YOUTH & PARENTS-Afterschool and weekend study/mentor programs that connect our youth and families to community resources and customized IEP for success and enrichment opportunities.

PARENT & VOLUNTEER EMPOWERMENT BI-MONTHLY MEET UPS–We work with individual parents as their personal advocate education mentor. We arm parents with information, training workshops & tools to ensure their children’s right to an education, and their rights as a parent to work with the school admin & teachers for the educational success of their student.  In addition we train our parents and volunteers to become active in the village.  Parents & Volunteers make up our support staff and Village Vanguard Community Watch Team.

HOMELESS FAMILY SUPPORT 1 ON 1 MEETINGS MONTHLY – We work with each family to accomplish 1 goal which is to get them into permanent housing. We are connecting our families to the local resources and helping to locate sponsorship for housing, job training, move in fees, food and clothing shortage, hygiene kits, & COVID 19 Supplies

CHRISTMAS WITH THE VILLAGE ADVOCATES – Our Annual family shopping day and or celebration of family during the holidays. We distribute full meals for holiday family gatherings so that the families can have a good holiday meal to keep the family structure intact.

SAFE OPTIONAL YOUTH SPACE TEEN TALK – Wellness Wednesday weekly meeting for our youth to have a safe place to check in with the challenges they might be facing that week. This is part of our peer to peer mentorship.  Meetings are held Virtually Teen Talk Hour and or in person – Circle of Inclusion  A Youth lead check in with adult supervision in the room if needed.  Special Guest Bi-Monthly Meeting

RITES OF PASSAGE MENTOR & LEADERSHIP PROGRAM-Mentorship through relationship building, Leadership training for the home, community and School. Workshops & Community Service 1 weekend every month.  Working with volunteers, parents, and mentors.

YOUTH POP UP EVENTS MONTHLY – One of your host for City of Sacramento Youth Pop Ups Activities, Meetups, Competitions, Prizes and Lots of Fun for Youth 12 and Up for Fist Up Friday or Summer Days Saturday.

V-TRIBE CUBS CLUB @ KIDS ZONE NEIGHBOR WORKS FARMERS MARKET -Games, Face Painting, Crafts, MH Wellness Activities, Parents are welcome to participate in parent activities in the Parent Tent Provided 1st Sunday of every month while your kids are doing activities.

VIOLENCE PREVENTION TEAM- This team is made up of volunteers members of Our Village.  They are on call in the event of a crisis in the community.  They are also part of a larger coalition in the city of Sacramento stop the violence in the city.  Workshops monthly to end violence at home, school, and in the community.
